Cornering concerns

Unlike the previous Pathfinder, this one doesn't really handle like a car. A sophisticated double-wishbone suspension underpins the vehicle, but because it's tuned to accommodate a life spent both on- and off-road, the truck's ordinarily smooth highway ride gets a bit sloppy over bumps.

In sweeping turns, the Pathfinder hits its stride. The steering is firm and quick and, when combined with a small-diameter steering wheel, makes you feel like you can carve up any back road that comes your way. When the corners tighten up, however, the body rolls and the tires squeal, reminding you that this Pathfinder is related to the Xterra, not the Murano.

In 1990, ASA decided to build a state-of-the-art alloy wheel manufacturing facility. Knowing the complexity and challenge this presented, ASA went to BBS in Germany to tap the best technical knowledge in facility design, manufacturing processes and quality controls for producing high quality alloy wheels. Production began at the new facility in Jeywon, South Korea in March 1992

The ASA JH6 has a classic 8-spoke motorsport styling with a unique center cap adapter that accepts O.E. MINI caps. One-piece low pressure casting is heat-treated and shot-peened for superior durability and strength. Available in 16" and 17" diameters.
